2025 WEBINAR Series: Session One
September 9, 2025 11AM EST | 4PM BST | 5PM CET
In this executive-level discussion, Andreas Graesser, CEO of ERP Strategies LLC, and Jochen Hager, Co-CEO of TJC Americas Inc., explore the strategic challenges and opportunities surrounding SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformations. The conversation highlights how CEOs and CIOs are increasingly focused on deriving measurable business value from complex digital initiatives—prioritizing system landscape simplification, master data governance, and process improvement. System decommissioning is playing a central role in this equation.
When embarking on your S/4HANA implementation, considering the future of your ECC landscape is of high importance.
As organizations strive to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving digital landscape, the shift from legacy SAP systems to modern platforms like S/4HANA has become a strategic imperative. This transformation is driven not only by technical necessity but also by the promise of financial and qualitative gains, from streamlined operations to improved data accessibility.
TJC Group’s Decommissioning Solution, ELSA, offers a cost-effective and flexible approach to managing historical data during this transition—enabling rapid realization of savings, seamless integration for AI and analytics, and freedom from vendor lock-in.
In contrast to alternative approaches such as data lakehouses or custom-built decommissioning solutions, ELSA delivers a turnkey, scalable solution that prepares businesses for the future. As system landscapes become more dynamic and historical data volumes grow, the need for a sustainable, accessible, and affordable data management strategy becomes critical.

Here's a selection of some insightful resources to check before the webinar to get the engine started.
Two years after successfully implementing SAP S/4HANA, the manufacturer recognised the need to decommission its legacy SAP ERP system, aiming to streamline its complex SAP landscape. A key challenge was the need to preserve critical legacy data, including data from divested companies still under audit and HR data for retired pensioners, for long-term access.
Ever wondered how to modernise systems without sacrificing years of valuable legacy data? Can organisations really upgrade and adapt modern solutions without the fear of losing historical data? Well, this is often the most asked question, or rather a challenge, during the S/4HANA migration. However, what if there is a way to ensure that important legacy data remains unchanged?
ELSA is a system decommission cloud application to store and access legacy data at any time, from any source, through one single platform. Built on SAP BTP, ELSA allows users to visualise all systems that have been decommissioned (SAP and non-SAP) through the application legacy systems directory.
